The Great Big Bacon Picnic 2016

The Great Big Bacon Picnic returns to Brooklyn for 2016. Billed as the first bacon festival in NYC, Great Big Food Events is once again curating an indoor/outdoor gourmet celebration of all things bacon in September!

This year should be greater, as over 100 chefs, restaurants, food trucks, brew masters, mixologists, and culinary experts come together from all over NYC to unleash an endless supply of bacon bites, beer, and spirits in this indoor/outdoor celebration.

Attendees this time around can choose between General Admission, Early Entry, and VIP tickets. The main differences between the three are simple in that the early entry allows for guests to enter a whole 30min before the rest, along with some exclusive benefits like private areas and a full pour. The VIP ticketholders can enter an hour before the others much like the VIPs but with a t-shirt, a swag bag, and complimentary parking.

Black Pepper #Bacon from Tellers Chophouse
Thick Cut, House Cured, Spicy-Sweet Horseradish Glaze
From Traif, BarBacon, Valducci's, P.J. Clarkes, there's really too many to count! Check with Great Big Bacon for their updated list of vendors participating.

Finally, Brooklyn’s High & Mighty Brass Band (that highlighted Bonnaroo, Gov’s Ball, Crawfish Fest, Wanderlust) will be the featured musician slated for the venue.

10% of the proceeds go to City Harvest, advocating sustainability and industry best practices.
